To underpressure loading and transport we use vacuuming units mounted on Mercedes and Volvo trucks. Units are equipped in Roots pumps with the flow from 6 500 m3/h to

8 600 m3/h.

Maximum underpressure is about 90 kPa. Pumps are powered by diesel (spalinowe) engines from 210 kW to 420 kW. The volume of acid-proof stainless steel tanks for the collected material is approx. 13 m3.

The units are designed to remove huge amounts of material left in silos, containers, on machinery and in halls. The effectiveness of unit work depends on the hose length and the density of collected material and it ranges from 10 to 25 tons per hour. The maximum length of sucking hoses is 120 meters.

Unloading of collected material can be done:

• with the use of gravity which means by opening the rear door and lifting up the truck
• or pneumatically through the pipeline of 160 mm in diameter the material is blown into a different place or a container.

The average time of pneumatic unloading equals the time of loading.

The unit is designed to transport loose, half-liquid and liquid materials. It can be used in:

1. Power plants:

• for cleaning fumes channels
• for cleaning electrofilters, electrofilter funnels and ash pumps etc.
• for cleaning mills and coal collectors
• for cleaning receiving pits and sediment traps
• for removal of mineral wool insulation

2. Cement plants:

• for cleaning silos and containers
• for removal of materials from tunnels, belt conveyor flights and conveyor installations
• for cleaning galleries and places difficult to reach

3. Sewage treatment/processing plants:

• for removal of heavy slime/sludge and liquids from tanks
• for cleaning sand filters
• for cleaning draining wells, trenches and canals
• for filling up filter beds.
